 PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES

  1. To produce graduates with strong mastery of knowledge and practical skills in fundamental sciences, mathematics and information technology for their pursuance of undergraduate studies.

  2. To equip graduates with critical, analytical, collaborative and communication skills.


 PROGRAMME LEARNING OUTCOMES

Upon successful completion of the programme, students will be able to:

  1. apply knowledge of theories and principles of various science areas.
  2. apply techniques and skills learned to conduct scientific investigation. 
  3. demonstrate communication skills, either in groups or as individuals.
  4. implement critical thinking and problem solving skills in relevant fields.
  5. exhibit ability in managing information for continuous learning.

MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • Pass SPM with 5 credits which must include one Mathematics subject and two science subjects, OR
  • O-Level with Grade C in 5 subjects which must include one Mathematics and two science subjects, OR
  • Unified Examination certificate (UEC) with Grade B in 3 subjects which must include one Mathematics subject and two science subjects, OR
  • Other equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Government.
